Online applications are invited in the prescribed format from the interested candidates for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Programme (5½ years) for the Academic Session: 2025-2026 in the vacant seats against notification no.- 156-ARD-18013/8/2025, dated-19.01.2025 under the JIS College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mogra, West Bengal (Private Veterinary College affiliated by WBUAFS) through the respective college website (https://www.jiscovas.org/) and or contact in person at the aforesaid college campus.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.V.Sc. & A.H. Degree Programme under State Quota (2025-26):
- Citizenship: The Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Age: Not less than 17 years and not more than 25 years as on 31st December of that year of admission. There shall be a relaxation of the upper age limit by maximum 5 (five) years for SC/ST/OBC (CATEGORY-A) & OBC (CATEGORY-B) candidates.
- The candidate must qualify in the NEET-UG-2025 conducted by NTA.
- The candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examinations from any recognized Board/ Council with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the above four subjects in regular class mode.
- The candidate must obtain 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology and English taken together for unreserved category and 47.5 % in case of reserved category candidates.
Eligibility Criteria for PwD Category Candidates:
(I) A candidate shall not be allowed admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree course if he/ she suffers the following disabilities, namely—
- (a) disability of total body including disability of chest or spine more than 50%,
- (b) disability of lower limb of more than 50%,
- (c) disability of upper limb,
- (d) visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability,
- (e) candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.
- (f) disabilities which otherwise would interfere in the performance of the duties of a veterinarian.
(II) The disability shall be certified by a duly constituted and Government authorized Medical Board comprising of at least three specialists out of which two shall be of the specialty concerned and the candidate has to present him or her-self before the Medical Board and the last valid disability certificate of the candidate from a Medical Board shall not be more than three months old from the date of submitting his or her certificate for disabled candidates.
Candidates will have to upload the cleared scanned copies (colour) of their original documents as follows in JPG/JPEG format during online application. Failing to this the candidate will not be considered for admission:
- Score/ Rank Card of NEET-UG-2025 conducted by NTA
- SC/ST/OBC(CATEGORY-A)/OBC(CATEGORY-B)/EWS/PwD Certificate (wherever applicable)
- Latest NCL Certificate for OBC (Category-A)/ OBC (Category-B) candidates (wherever applicable)
- Secondary Examination Admit Card/ Birth Certificate as age proof
- Mark sheet of Secondary (Class-10) Examination
- Mark sheet of Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination
- Aadhaar Card
