The team reached Methiagarh.Mogra -GP-1Hoogly, where a banner depicting our College emblem etc was displayed previous day Methiagarh, Mandir wall for awareness and information. The patient animals were brought for health checking up, anthelminthic, egg problem cases, for treatment and taking suggestions of vaccination and LSD cases follow up. The Veterinary doctors, animal assistants and others actively registered the patient’s owner names, history taking, physical examination of the animals for diagnosis of cases for effective therapeutic interventions and to administration of drugs through injectable, tropical application and oral medicines. The animal farmers were aware about how to restrict disease prevalence and mortality nearly '0" in the standing animal population through health awareness, vaccine schedules of different species of animals in different season round the year. The patient’s owners were eager to have more visit of the same kind frequently particularly for vaccination against lethal diseases like Lumpy skin Disease, Ranikhet Disease, Goat pox, PPR, Duck plague and fowl pox etc. We advised them to visit of JIS Veterinary College campus for major surgical intervention as well as for referral cases if not response with health camp therapeutic intervention.
