RULES AND REGULATIONS – STUDENTS

The rules and regulations of the college are framed by the Authority to ensure a peaceful campus atmosphere.

CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE OF STUDENTS (COLLEGE)

1. 1. Know Your College's Official Schedule: Be aware of the official Class hours, which can range from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
2. 2. Required Participation in Co-curricular Activities: Colleges may mandate attendance at specific events that are considered integral to the student experience, such as orientation, academic advising sessions, or certain seminars. These are often seen as essential for a student's academic and personal development.
3. 3. Follow the Rules and Behave Well: You need to follow all the college rules and act in a respectful and disciplined way everywhere you go, both on and off campus.
4. 4. Wear Your Uniform and ID: The college will give you a uniform and an ID card. You must wear your uniform (with shoes) and always have your ID card on you while you're at the college.
5. 5. Go to Class: You must attend at least 75% of your classes for each subject, both for lectures and practicals. If you don't, you won't meet the minimum attendance requirements.
6. 6. Authorized Absence: If a student needs to be absent, they are required to inform the college authorities beforehand and provide a valid reason, such as a medical report or participation in a college-approved event.
7. 7. Take Care of College Property: Students are expected to use all college property, including classrooms, labs, libraries, furniture, and technology, in a responsible manner.
8. 8. No Ragging (Bullying): RAGGING is strictly PROHIBITED; it is a punishable Act. If any student/students found guilty of ragging will be dismissed from the college as per the Supreme Court ruling.
9. 9. Pay Your Fees on Time: Students have to pay the requisite fees [Admission, Semester, registration, examination, hostel (for boarders), any other] time to time within the stipulated time frame given by the college otherwise an academic fine may be imposed against him/her.
10. 10. Participate in LFC, TVCC and Internships: The college offers training programs and internships to help you with your career. You are expected to participate in these to improve your skills and increase your chances of becoming good professionals, researchers, academicians or entrepreneurs after completion of the course.
