Introduction

The Department of Veterinary Physiology and Biochemistry is dedicated to strengthening the scientific understanding of physiological and biochemical processes in animals through modern undergraduate veterinary education. The department delivers its academic programme in full compliance with the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) – MSVE Regulations.

Academic Focus

The department provides competency-based teaching in:

  • General and Systemic Physiology
  • Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiology
  • Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology
  • Veterinary Biochemistry
  • Applied and Molecular Physiology

The curriculum integrates theoretical concepts with practical laboratory exposure, physiological demonstrations, biochemical analysis, and clinically relevant applications.
